Art Studio 5005 –Art program for children.
Every person is potentially talented. Our goal is
to find that talent in a child and nourish it.
We help children to unfold, find trust in their
artistic abilities, make a friendship with pencil and a brush, to become
familiar with different medias and techniques…In other words to become
confident in art.
We also think art helps children to grow, makes
them well balanced and happy.
Not only it brings a pleasure to create, but also
it helps to
build one’s future life in any carrier.
We are very happy with our teacher’s experience.
It’s amazing to see, how often, we get children, who have to start from scratch
and in a few classes they are focused and joyful young artists, who know what
they do!
Their abilities get really stronger with every
class and stronger gets the coordination (fine motor skills), perseverance,
concentration. The fact that they can create a piece of art and share it with
others makes them really happy!
What we do in our classes.
Our usual semester has different classes with
painting, drawing and sculpting as a base core. It’s mostly figure drawing,
still lives and landscapes, balancing the colors and shapes. Following, we
always have some applied art, like prints, silk painting, work with ink,
charcoal, pastel. We study styles, artists and the art history. We do modeling,
study design, work with color and composition. We avoid copying or step by step
painting, we want the children to work more independently and feel art from the
inside. The exception is only a once a semester class of the old master
copying. Mostly, we give out a specific assignment and see how children can
unfold and create, being helpful with making suggestions on improvements while
children are creating.
We work in friendly, comfortable atmosphere,
building trust and joy.. We are always positioning ourselves as friends, who
are more art experienced, but not as an art authority.

прислушиваться к себе,а не следовать пошаговым инструкциям...
Чем мы делаем? Практически все, что можно сделать с детьми.

пастель, сангина, тушь. глина, пластилин коллажи, литографии, монотипии. не
каждый семестр, но иногда бывает что нибудь экзотическое

1. 5:15- 6:15 ( we will try to keep it for age 5-9)
2. 6:15-7:15 ( this class will be more advanced
and open for kids up to 13 years old)
3. 7:15-8:15-

We are starting September 3rd after Labor Day Last Class is
December 22nd Tuition The Art classes for children are $448.00 for the semester
-16 sessions for Mondays and same for Wednesdays We have a 10% sibling discount
for second/ third child.
Classes for adults will be short sessions- 4 weeks on
Mondays- $140 + materials. Registrations and pre payment required.
We are also switching
to a bigger and better Studio space- right across from All Bright! Our new
address is 4-24 Saddle River Rd, Fair
Lawn, NJ ( enter from the
parking lot)
We are opening a new art program in Livingston,
NJ.
It's in Do Re Mi
School on Tuesdays. We will have following classes 3:30, 4:30, 5:30, 6:30

Внимание! У нас новый курс! Мы давно поняли, что то, что мы
даем детям часто выходит за рамки экскурсии по музею или урока рисования или
студии анимации... Когда мы решили сделать специальный курс, стало ясно, что
дать этому классу название или даже краткое описание достаточно сложно.
Так родился Лицей.
Что это будет? Беседы о мировом искусстве, эстетическое
воспитание, обсуждение классики мировой литературы и кино, поэзия, театр,
история, культура. Творческие мастерские в которых мы сможем применить наши
теоретические знания- будем сочинять, иллюстрировать книги, рисовать, лепить
мультфильмы, делать инсталляции, ставить театральные зарисовки. Будем расширять
кругозор, развивать вкус. Будем учиться творческому самовыражению. Все вместе
это является постепенным формированием гармоничной личности.

Курс на осень 2014-
16 классов, начиная с 3го сентября по средам и с 8го сентября по понедельникам,
до рождественских каникул ( 22 декабря последний урок) Оплата- $450 за семестр.
Если у вас два или три ребенка- мы даем скидку по договоренности. Расписание
семестра соответствует расписанию школ Fair Lawn'a — at Art Studio 5005.
